Not to be confused with Pelagius Septim III.

Pelagius Septim was the second ruler of the Septim Empire. He ruled Tamriel for three years; however, he wasn't the strong ruler like his grandfather was, and he soon became confused in all the different provincial matters.

He was the Second Crown Prince of Tamriel after the death of his cousin, Claudius Septim on 3E 12. In 3E 41, Pelagius was the first of the Third Era Emperors to be assassinated, most likely by nobles seeking a more competent Emperor. He was killed by the Dark Brotherhood while praying at the Temple of the One, in the Imperial City. This officially ended the direct Tiber Septim bloodline. He was succeeded by Kintyra Septim.[1]
