Jean Ney Hollande III (French: Jéan Ney Frémont Hollandé; 25 May 1808 – 28 December 1872) was French-born military leader and General of the Army, also 1st Military Governor of Michigan form 1843 to 1855, and form 1855 until 1863.
Born Jéan Ney Frémont Hollandé; nicknamed General Jean Ney Hollande. Live in Fort-la-Latte, Côtes-d'Armor, French Empire. He dressed in U.S in 1842, in few months he derved General of the Army. Then President Polk derserved 1st Military Governor of Michgian form 1843-1855 (served 12 years and 4 terms); then 1856-1863 (served 7 years and 2 and in half). Hollande married Mary Jackson in 1833, and haved 2 children. Then he died on December 28, 1872, after suffered a stroke.
